Electrifying Light

Rays of sunlight create a pattern of light across the body of a male great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) as he glides below the surface off of Mexico’s Isla de Guadalupe. Depending on the position of the sun, patterns of light can take on some interesting appearances. In this case, the shark looks almost “electrified” to me.
